Dirtbusters - Truckmounted carpet cleaners in Liverpool

There are many carpet cleaners out there using a variety of different carpet cleaning machines. We find after using many types of carpet and rug cleaner that the 'Truckmount' is the most effective way of cleaning. This machine stays sitting in the van and has its own power supply, as well as its own water supply. There are many advantages to this - we can clean carpets in empty homes where there is no electricity, the carpets are cleaned much faster as there are no buckets of water needed to fill up the machine. But the biggest advantage that this gives our customers all over Liverpool is a much deeper clean that also drys really fast.

Carpet cleaners in Liverpool

A thing that we have noticed more of recently is the advertising of 'cheap' carpet and upholstery cleaning in the Liverpool area. We always try to gain as much feedback from our customers and one thing we hear all the time is the story of a cheap price list on a leaflet or website that is then hiked up once the operator arrives. Luckily most carpet cleaning companies in Liverpool and the Wirral have a good price structure, but its the cleaners that come and then soon disappear (you simply cant maintain a business using this way of pricing) that are the problem.

Always do as much research as you can when employing any tradesman, are they long established, is that a final price, have they any testimonials etc..

Leather repairs Liverpool

Maintenance is always the key when it comes to looking after your leather suite. Although problems can also arise when using leather cleaning products from the supermarket. This is down to the fact that many of these products aren't strong enough to cut through the dirt and as too much elbow grease is used the leather sofas top coat can be damaged.

We where repairing a leather sofa in Liverpool today that had this very problem. Because it was a cream leather suite and was used by a big family it got quite grubby looking. Our client had actually been using baby wipes (containing alcohol) as well as scouring pads to clean the leather. After time the top coat protecting the leather had come away, followed by the cream colour underneath.

Dave matched the colour of the leather and airbrushed the area, followed by replacing the topcoat to remedy the problem.

It is good advice to have your leather furniture cleaned by a professional to keep on top of things, removing body oils and built up grime through everyday use.
